A Moment of Reflection

Wow! These pictures brought me back some good memories! Image 1: Photo shoot by Isaac Singleton Productions, my high school classmate who I’m so proud to support! Image 2: With my beautiful daughters Shelbi and Spenser at the grand opening of the New York restaurant Image 3: Participating in Anthropologie Mother’s Day out and reading to the cutest little girl that wanted me to keep reading and reading (lol) I love taking kids on journeys in their minds. Image 4: Supporting the Food Network’s “Feed the Hunger Campaign” alongside Ted Allen Image 5: I had the chance to meet the great Marla Gibbs at a media junket. Meet Me… Gina Neely!

Welcome to GinaNeely.com. This is my official website and blog. Thank you for taking a moment to stop by and keep up with me for all of my latest health and fitness tips, what I’m up to, fashion trend updates, and my thoughts on all things fabulous from my weekly Scandal recaps, to my perspectives on life, love, and the issues facing women in their personal and professional lives. A little about me: I’m a southern girl from Memphis, Tennessee -I was born, raised and still reside in Memphis. I’m a mother to two beautiful girls Spenser and Shelbi. For a few years, I starred in the Food Network hit show Down Home with the Neelys, where I showcased my love for family, food and the enjoyment of life. The show quickly became the highest-rated series debut in the history of Food Network’s “In the Kitchen” block. Following the success of the show, I released my first cookbook, Down Home with the Neelys, which quickly earned a place on The New York Times bestseller list. The book and the show lead to my prime time television debut as the host of Food Network’s Road Tasted. Enjoying continuing success in television, 2011 proved to be a tremendous year for me with the release of my second book, The Neely’s Celebration Cookbook. From the books and TV, I went on to take on a big challenge, that really changed my life- my weight loss challenge. I was engaged as the national spokeswoman for Green Giant and the George Foreman Grills Weight Loss Challenge where I promoted and actively participated in healthy cooking and lifestyle changes. Thanks for visiting and keep checking back to see what’s new in the world of...
